Christmas is the biggest holiday in The Philippines. As a predominantly Catholic country, Filipinos will begin the Christmas season in September! Everone enters into the spirit of the season by attending church, making decorations and carol singing.

However for many families Christmas is another day where they will struggle to feed their children and presents are not an option.

It is estimated that over 13 million Filipino children are living below the poverty line, that means their families survive on less than $7 per day.

This year at Mercy in Action are aiming to reach over 2,000 children with Christmas in a Box with your help!
